Artist Todd Stone has lived and worked downtown for over 40 years and was on his roof the morning of September 11, 2001. He drew and painted throughout the day until evacuating after the fall of 7 World Trade Center. The Witness II Downtown Rising series of paintings reflect the devastation and reconstruction at Ground Zero. Stone has been artist-in-residence at the World Trade Center since 2010. His art was included in Rendering the Unthinkable at the 9 11 Memorial & Museum.
