Description

Dogs played an important role during the rescue and recovery efforts in the wake of the tragedy of 9 11. Their jobs varied from detection, search and rescue, and therapy at the sites. They provided comfort and consolation in times of distress. Though most are no longer with us, they carry on through the memory of those touched by them.
