3D pop artist Charles Fazzino created this artwork in 2021 especially for the 9 11 Memorial & Museum. Known for his vibrant depictions of New York City, Fazzino sought to preserve the visual history of the events of 9 11 while at the same time celebrating the resilience of his beloved hometown, its people, and an entire country.

I, as so many others, was permanently scarred by the events of 9 11. I have been equally amazed and inspired by all that has arisen from the ashes. My work is is meant to celebrate the hope of a people and the promise of the future: Twenty Years Later.
