Despite its name, it doesn t come from the Amazon River but is found in various regions around Brazil. Amazonite exhibits a range of colors including colorless, bluish-green, white, yellow, pink, red, or gray, but it is most commonly seen in a beautiful aqua blue with green hues. The presence of lead within the stone gives it its distinctive color.
